My First (Solo) Trip to Jeju Island
August 2014

Only in Korea...

The lovely waters that stole one of my favorite sandals... Probably should have left them on the steps like the rest of the smarties...

This was probably the best Milmyeon I had in Korea. It could also have been the best Milmyeon I had because I was dying of starvation, sweating buckets, and on the verge of passing out...

Aimlessly walking about and found this quiet and tranquil place to take photos. It was also a perfect place to enjoy some peace and alone time.

Butt water?
Back at Jungmun Saekdal Beach, on a hill, to take photos and journal... also where I accidentally roasted my poor thighs. Good times.

Cheonjeyeon Falls 1. Pretty disappointing.

Cheonjeyeon Falls 2. Still pretty disappointing. The picture looks a lot better than it does in person. I didn't bother to look for the third falls. Instead, I took a detour.
One of my favorite walks in Jeju was discovering the Seonim Bridge that arches over the Cheonjeyeon Falls. I saw this bridge from afar but didn't know how to get to it. I love how I accidentally find things while aimlessly walking about.

Jeju's Botanical Gardens

My favorite, the French Garden

Ending with the Korean Garden
This was my last solo trip in Korea before I left to go back to the states. I purposely spent most of my time there relaxing and rejuvenating myself before I had to face the music, which isn't all that great (surprise!). However, I am planning to explore and travel within the states this coming Spring and Summer. I haven't taken much time to do that and I thought it could be the start of some great adventures and projects. Until then, I will be focusing on working and saving up to embark on more journeys and to continue my explorations of the world.
